Merry Christmas

This Christmas was a wonderful Christmas with our family!!  We had so much fun having family over, visiting at family homes, and traveling to visit family too!  Liam must have been a very good boy this year becuase he received lots and tons of gifts.  Lots of clothes for our growing boy, many learning toys for his curious mind and lots of wonderful new books for him to read too.  Our Christmas was complete by watching his big (two toothed) grin on his sweet little face.  Speaking of which - I suppose all that was on Liam's wish list for Christmas were his two front teeth - becuase that is what he got as an early present (December 14, 2011).  (Note: Before you continue I want to apologize for the influx of photos - I couldn't decide which ones I liked best - and well since the purpose of this is to document our lives - I decided to include them all!  Enjoy!)

On Christmas Eve Grandpa and Grandma came over and unloaded Santa's Sleigh.  Liam was so delighted to see them and beamed while unwrapping and playing with all of his new toys.

Later that afternoon we went to church service with Grampy, Gramby, Cheryl and Chris.  It was a wonderful service and Liam behaved so well (through the whole hour and a half of service).  Afterwards, Cheryl and Chris hosted us at thier house for Gumbo (prepared by Betty and Les) and Raspberry trifle.  We sadly did not get a single picture of this wonderful evening.

The next morning we went to the Smiles for breakfast and open presents.  Liam had such a wonderful time that he got a small shiner on his eyebrow.  That didn't stop the festivities though.  We finished up there, loaded up the car and headed to Wimberley to see Gran and Grandad!  What a wonderful time we had there in the country.  We had so much fun seeing lots of relatives, eating great food, resting tons, and playing with the pups!

We are so blessed to have such wonderful family (near and far).  We had a wonderful Christmas and hope you did as well.

9 Months Old

Happy 9 month birthday to Liam!  At his doctor visit he was 22 pounds (70% for those of you keep up) and 30 inches (97%).  He's a growing big, HEALTHY, boy.  Our doctor is very happy with him.  And always says "he's doing great!".

Liam loves to play and hang out with his bestie Cash.  He loves little kids in general and squeals in delight when he is around another kiddo.

These days Liam loves to feed himself his bottle. He will throw it down when he thinks he's done with it and run right back to it afterwards, realizing he wasn't quite finished. He also loves solid foods! He loves mommy's homemade chicken soup with vegetables (minus the broth). He loves to feed himself finger foods and especially loves little cereal puffs and mum mums.

He loves to look at himself in the mirror.  We have learned to leave our bedroom door closed for this reason.

Liam also loves reading books with Mommy and Daddy. He turns the pages when he is finished with current page and kisses the pages that he especially loves! He is just the most amazing little baby ever and we love him so much!

Pictures with Santa

Liam and Cash went to visit Santa for first time. They could not have had a more opposite reaction to him! I just love it! Liam has also visited another Santa and had the exact same reaction! Ha! Merry Christmas!!

Chillin with my bestie

I can't get enough of these two sweet boys together! Lindsay and I just love how they love each other!! Here's to many more fun memories!

Tis the Season

So immediately after Thanksgiving we start taking down all the fall decorations and put up all of our Christmas decor! We took advantage of having the tree up (thanks to my wonderful hubby and mother in law) to take a few pictures!

Happy Thanksgiving

Super late post! Sorry! We had a wonderful thanksgiving at our home this year. We were very thankful to celebrating our first thanksgiving with our sweet Liam! We had family from near and far come to share this special day with him (and everyone else) too!
