Amber's Bridal Shower

One of my dearest friends - Amber Auth (soon to be Mrs. Koons) will be getting married on May 1, 2010. I was honored to help hostess a shower for her at her Aunt Darlene's home. We had much fun, many laughs, a few tears and many memories. I wish her and Matt a wonderful lifetime together!

We also played some very fun games; one where the guests divided up into teams and were asked to recreate Amber's Wedding dress out of toilet paper - everyone had much fun....

Three Years!

Happy 3rd year anniversary to my wonderful husband! I am in shock that it has already been 3 years - time flies when you are having fun! I feel so blessed to have him in my life and we are so blessed to be surrounded by wonderful and loving freinds and family!! We wouldn't be who we are without you! I still can't believe that 3 years ago we were standing on Bill and J's back porch surrounded by loved ones saying I do!! How amazing!

We also enjoyed a relaxing weekend together! We got some much needed items off our checklist, and I got haircut and J and I went to Market Days! The pups got to run around and play with each other and the weather was beautiful. What fun!!!

Black Eyed Peas and Best Friends

My best friend, Monica, invited me to accompany her to the Black Eyed Peas concert at the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo this year - and WOW what a concert is all I have to say. It was by far the best Rodeo Concert I have ever been to (and a close second to the Prince concert I went to years ago). It was amazing and so much fun! Thanks again for inviting me to a wonderful concert!!

Tank Wedding

One of our dear freinds, Beatriz Ortiz (you may know her as my friend Betty) was married this past weekend to the love of her life, Andrew Tank. They have a lovely story that they would love to share with anyone who asks on how they met!

They married in Port Isabel (which is just a hop, skip and jump from South Padre Island) off the water. It was a beautiful ceremony. They chose to marry there because it is near where Betty grew up in the valley.

I was honored to be invited to the wedding and want to wish them a lifetime of happiness and hope that they will indulge in all the blessings that marriage has to offer! Best wishes on the start of your forever Mr & Mrs Tank!

It was a long 6 hour drive, but I would do again in a heartbeat (so long as Chau would agree to drive again). Hehe!!
