Family Portraits

Our sweet friend, neighbor and talented photographer Monique (with Daviet Photography) took some beautiful pictures of us one Saturday morning! We had fun taking them! Thanks again Monique!!

First day of "school"

Liam started pre-school on May 29. On the first day of school daddy stayed with him and he did really well until closer to nap time. The second day I stayed for 15 minutes and then left to fill out some paperwork. But when his teacher went and checked on him she noticed that I wasn't missed at all! He often becomes very fussy around nap time (the kid loves to sleep). The second week got better. And although he has some fussy moments, over all he loves going to school! He loves splash day, loves reading, and snack time is always fun, but most of all he loves seeing his bestie Cash at school!

Baseball Bust

We took Liam to his first baseball game in May. J loves the Astros and so this was a wonderful mothers day present. We went the weekend after mothers day (Astros vs. Rangers) with Phil's parents, and aunt Marty (who is also a very huge baseball fan)! Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time until there was a big play, which is always followed by cheering. We have grown to realize that Liam is not a fan of applause. After trying everything Bill decided it was time to take him home. Luckily we came in two cars so the rest of us could stay and watch the game! And the Astros won that night!

First Haircut

Liam got his first haircut on May 5, 2012 and did so well! He didn't cry or even move about too much. Don't worry it was only a trim and his curls are still growing in!

Hoppy Easter!

Easter was spent with our family in Wimberley!  Liam loved hunting for the eggs and tasting each one before putting them in his basket!

Family

13 Months Old

Liam has grown into such a sweet little man.  He loves to walk around - everywhere!  Being that he is still so tall he walks with a high step and arms up (imagine how a monkey would walk with thier hands above their heads).  He still sleeps very regularly (about 12 hours each night), with his Mickey Mouse and a blanket that his Nena crotched for him.  He still enjoys his naps and takes two naps during the day (2 hours each or split totaling 4 hours during the day - we are very blessed).

He definitely enjoys a big breakfast in the morning with daddy typically consisting of eggs and waffles or yogurt, rice cereal, fruit and cheerios.  He loves his milk and although he will drink out of a sippy cup (spout or straw) he prefers a bottle.  We have been working on the sippy since he was about 10 months old, but he thinks of it more as a toy and not an efficient form of milk delivery.

He is still very tall (measuring 34" these days) and is wearing 18-24 month old clothing, and a size 6 shoe!  BIG boy!

He loves to play with the puppies and chase them around the house.  Charlie enjoys (allows) him climbing all over him and Jack enjoys the "petting" and will walk away when he has had enough.

His favorite books to read are 'Itsy Bitsy Spider', and 'Alien Al'.  His favortie TV shows are Mickey Mouse and Baby's First Channel (although we limit his TV I can definitely tell he takes after his father and Uncle).

Happy *Surprise* Birthday/St. Patty's Day

On St. Patricks Day we threw a small surprise party for my mother-in-law, Jeanette, and my Aunt Barbara.  They were totally surprised.  I (sadly) forgot my camera at home and did not catch any pictures of the surprise.  But since it was St. Patricks Day I was able to snap a couple of shots of our little Irish lad.
