More Liam Loves

Because I am not sure how to load pictures and add captions to the mobile version of blogger, I'll try and be most descriptive so you can associate the caption to the proper picture. It's like a matching game! Enjoy!

Liam loves...

Spaghetti, ravioli and moms homemade ziti...

To play in laundry baskets...

With friends (in laundry baskets)...

To drink his milk in mommys lap (just like when he was an infant)...

To make art projects at school (this was a big milestone because he was first "hesitant" and "resistant" to participate)...

To watch Mickey Mouse in his rocking chair (which his great grandmother gave to Phil)...

Happy Independence Day

We had a low key fourth (since we were fighting off infections). We still had a wonderful day celebrating our independence. Happy 4th of July!!

Birthday Fun - Kai

Kai (Luth) had his birthday at a blowup bounce house again this year, this time it was "Action Hero" themed. If you look several posts back you'll see a little baby Liam "jumping" on a bounce house. This time there are no quotations, he really did jump. He was very hesitant at first but soon began to love it! Thanks for inviting us to join the birthday celebration fun! Happy 3rd birthday Kai!

Farm Fun with Friends

Our sweet friends the Burnells (Todd and Lindsay) invited us to Lindsay's parents farm! We had a great time riding 4 wheelers, the girls watching movies, dads shooting guns, and boys playing in the pool, and posing for fun photos! My sweet friend Lindsay has recently found her passion for photography and has a started a small photography business with her friend Megan (www.perfectlyposhphotography.com). Here are some cute pictures from the weekend. There are more on her blog located on their website.

Family Portraits

Our sweet friend, neighbor and talented photographer Monique (with Daviet Photography) took some beautiful pictures of us one Saturday morning! We had fun taking them! Thanks again Monique!!

First day of "school"

Liam started pre-school on May 29. On the first day of school daddy stayed with him and he did really well until closer to nap time. The second day I stayed for 15 minutes and then left to fill out some paperwork. But when his teacher went and checked on him she noticed that I wasn't missed at all! He often becomes very fussy around nap time (the kid loves to sleep). The second week got better. And although he has some fussy moments, over all he loves going to school! He loves splash day, loves reading, and snack time is always fun, but most of all he loves seeing his bestie Cash at school!

Baseball Bust

We took Liam to his first baseball game in May. J loves the Astros and so this was a wonderful mothers day present. We went the weekend after mothers day (Astros vs. Rangers) with Phil's parents, and aunt Marty (who is also a very huge baseball fan)! Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time until there was a big play, which is always followed by cheering. We have grown to realize that Liam is not a fan of applause. After trying everything Bill decided it was time to take him home. Luckily we came in two cars so the rest of us could stay and watch the game! And the Astros won that night!
