My Moms (Grandmothers to be) hosted a very fun shower for me on February 12, 2011. It was such a fun and just beautiful shower! We had fun eating all of the delicious homemade food and playing games!

Guests came from near and far to attend and here are some getting to know each other. Priscilla (in the black top) traveled from Midland and her daughter, Ashley (in the cream sweater) drove from the Dallas area. Aunt Barbara traveled from Austin as well and a friend of my mom's (Hamida - not shown) came from overseas! We are so blessed to have so many travel from so far to come share in this wonderful time. 
Some more guests - Great, Great Aunt Vesta (in the purple) traveled all the way from New York, and Great Grandmother Phyllis (in the pink) traveled from the Austin area.

My wonderful coworkers threw me an amazing shower on February 18, 2011. It too was filled with fun and games. They had intended on making this a surprise shower - until my Doctor threw in a surprise of her own - - bedrest!!! So they let the cat out of the bag - and we had a wonderful time!!! These are beautiful cookies handmade and decorated by Janet's sister, Kathy. Aren't they adorable? I love the "Liam" letters, the ones with the little footprints, the "Gada's Baby Shower" one, and well all of them! So sweet and delicous!!!

What an amazingly generous gift this was - a money tree!! I have never seen anything so beautiful! My talented friend and co-worker, Sheryl, made this and the money was donated by all of my amazing co-workers. This literally left me speecheless. Phil and I could not feel more blessed!!
